What This Notice Covers
This notice explains how information submitted through Newcastle Fire Protection is used to handle commercial fire protection enquiries. It covers your contact details, the information you choose to provide about the work and the website from which your enquiry is sent.
Information You Provide
The enquiry form asks for your name, email, service required and message. A phone number is optional. Your message may include the premises type, postcode and details of the work. Please do not submit sensitive personal information, access codes or confidential plans.
How Your Enquiry Is Used
Your information is used to understand and respond to your request, discuss a suitable next step and keep an appropriate record of that enquiry. Necessary service providers may process information to deliver and protect the form and its storage. Enquiries are not used to add you to a marketing mailing list.
Your Agreement Before Sharing
Enquiries may be passed to a suitable local fire protection firm so it can discuss or quote for the requested work. The form asks for your agreement before that happens. Only information relevant to your enquiry should be shared, and the receiving firm is responsible for explaining its own subsequent use of your information.
The Basis For Using Information
We ask for consent to process the submitted enquiry and, where needed, share it with a suitable local firm. You can withdraw that consent through the contact form by selecting “Not sure yet” and stating that your request concerns privacy. Withdrawal does not change processing that was lawful before you withdrew agreement.
Keeping Information
Enquiry records should be kept only while needed to handle the request, manage follow-up or meet an applicable record-keeping requirement. You can ask through the contact form whether a record is still held and request deletion where the relevant rights apply. The receiving firm may have separate retention obligations for any contract you enter into.
Your Information Rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law provides rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of personal information, and to object or request portability. Use the contact form to make a privacy request and provide enough detail to identify the enquiry. Identity may need to be checked before records are disclosed.
Cookies And External Services
This static website does not set advertising or analytics cookies. Google Fonts is used for typography, which makes a request to Google when the page loads. The hosting platform and form delivery service may process technical request information for delivery and security. No optional tracking tools are included in this build.
Questions Or Complaints
For a question about your information, use the contact form and begin the message with “Privacy request”. You can also seek information or raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office. If a local firm has contacted you, its own privacy notice will explain how to contact it about records it holds.
Changes To This Notice
This notice may be updated when the enquiry process or relevant services change. The date shown on this page identifies the current version. Any new use requiring consent should be explained before that use begins.
